J. Michael Straczynski had a Dream. A five-year long science fiction series with a beginning, a middle and an end. A novel written for television. A story about a space station and the people - both humans and aliens - living on it. A story about a shining beacon in space - all alone in the night. A story about good and evil, darkness and light, heroes and cowards. A story about hatred and love; hope and despair; greatness and madness.
The Dream came true.
The year was 1993 and the name of that show was Babylon 5
